Purple-brown and finely grained, Indaten® owes its success to its wonderfull patina. When exposed to the natural environment, a protective oxide layer is formed on the surface.
This oxidation process is obtained through the addition of a very small percentage of copper, nickel and chromium in the steel. Once the oxidation is stabilised, the patina constitutes a protective barrier. No maintenance is necessary and the material will not degrade through corrosion.
Indaten® is very popular with architects to achieve harmony with the environment, its visual impact is guaranteed.
