ArcelorMittal launches an e-commerce in France

ArcelorMittal Distribution West Europe has launched its e-commerce platform: ArcelorMittal e-steel. ArcelorMittal's clients can now benefit from a new service with the advent of the group's first online store. The whole product range is available online and the purchasing process is simple and fast thanks to an intuitive navigation.
An existing client or a lead can very quickly register on ArcelorMittal e-steel and then chooses the most convenient ArcelorMittal agency. Once connected, the client can view and select products, check his order status and access to his purchasing history, all in a secure web account environment. The client can also choose whether to collect his order at his agency or have it delivered.
It takes just a few clicks for professional clients and individuals to add items to theircart , choose their delivery mode and pay securely on ArcelorMittal e-steel.
"With this online service, ArcelorMittal Distribution West Europe offers a real e-sales service, allowing clients to manage their supplies 24/7. This project places us at the cutting edge of the digital world in order to anticipate the e-business needs," said Jean-Baptiste Courtier, CEO of ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions France.
After the successful launch at the Colomiers site in 2017, the service is now available through seven other French sites: Caen, Langon, La Roche-sur-Yon, Reims, Rennes, Rouen and Savigny-le-Temple. The service is scheduled to be deployed throughout France in the first quarter of 2018.
Germany and the Benelux countries will also offer their e-commerce website to their clients in 2018.
